Chuck Shadow is a Denver born, Los Angeles based, multi-talented electronic artist who blends his wide range of influences into his own form of house music ranging from the dark and ethereal to the comically enticing. With ten years of experience as a DJ and as a recent Icon Collective production school graduate, he is prepared to take on the demands of the electronic music industry and the highly competitive scene. With releases on Night Bass, Sub 49 Records, Incursion, Low Freqs, 3000 bass, Solmatic Records, and Merge the Music, Chuck is just getting started.
Dread MC. Gloucester born Bristol based Mic Man and Underground award winning dance vocalist. Having hosted sets with Artists such as Skream, Pinch, Goldie, SHY FX, DJ Zinc, Caspa, CLIPZ, plus many more. He is currently the stage show frontman for the diverse award winning bass act My Nu Leng. He also has partnered up with DJ and Producer Duckworth sound, with future production and shows on the horizon, as well as them both being A&R managers for the American based label DND from international DJ Bijou.

Ghost Mode EP by Marzetti with Remixes from Average Citizens, Brukout[ca], Coka Cobra
“Ghost Mode is a unique collaborative EP based around UK Vocalist MC Subdolo original grime vocals with ‘remix’ tracks made to compliment each other. This EP features an all-star veteran Canadian line up of artists with a combined total of 17M Playlist reach. The artist originally sent it out to UK labels and they were very interested. But because this EP is multi-genre, they asked if they could release select songs from this EP to which the original artist replied, “no - because the beauty is in the whole package”.
We see the beauty in this too. Despite breaking our conventional rules, we at Sub 49 decided to sign and push this. ”
Recent Release
My Favorite Flavor’s you baby. It’s that time of the year again where co-owner and label manager of Sub 49 Records, James Gatz, drops a once a year tune. “Favorite Flavor” is a UKG inspired Future House track that challenges genres, making space for the unexplored side of Bass House. As he says, “The best part of being a label manager? Doing whatever the hell you want”. He loves to use the opportunity to create an experimental banger that might not be for all dance floors.
As the news agency, Elated Society, once said, “James Gatz brings in a new era of 4/4 music by blending elements from multiple genres and pushing the boundaries of what is considered House and Techno in his production.”

Our newest endeavor, “House of Bass”, is a night of Bass, Tech, and Garage House featuring an underground Headliner, hosted at Seattle’s most iconic venue, Chop Suey.
